Shredding the pow pow!

Little vid of me hitting a couple of jumps, I am afraid its not that good of a vid but I took it with the thought of uploading it, so here it is. If you like it say so and I might upload another one of the view (its longer and will take a while to upload so... not bothering to do it now, this gives you some idea of what Cardona is like I thought.

Last days of snow.

Ski season is done for another year, I managed many days of messing around in the snow this year, and why not, I do live only 40mins from this adults playground.
My achievement today was to get some "sick air bro" hit the jumps and the park (boxes ect) was a great day despite less than perfect snow.  The snow made us all work and I am glad today is a weekend.
Here is to all you ski bums I met this year, cheers guys its been epic-ish.

As you can see from the pictures of today's snow board session (where I shredded that powder)
It was fresh snow and minimal visibility a lot of the day. When the sun came out it was lovely, when it went away and the wind kicked in, not so good.
Still now I managed to make it into a good days ride, I did my first trick, a grind over a box! wow, look out world.
Took 1 hour to get a ride up the mountain and 2 hours to get a ride down! lame day standing in the cold weather waiting for a ride but maybe I will call it character building.

THE BATTLE OF BANOCKBURN!

No real pictures of the actual battle (did not use my camera) but here is a good idea of what it looked like when the carnage began. Including flour bombs sword fights (cardboard sword only).

Cardrona.

The skyline route on Cardrona ski field. look one way and you can see Wanaka, look the other and you can see Queenstown. look anywhere else and you can see mountains, sky, lakes and people falling off there skis and boards.

Pictures, yes, pictures. Disappointed in most of them, just got them developed, these ones I thought were worthy for a variety of reasons, mostly because I LIKE THEM SO SHUT UP.
